Autumn’s in the air; the leaves are starting to change color, the temperatures are falling, and the days are growing shorter. Today’s the Autumn Equinox, and we’re quite excited about it!
Over the course of a year–and especially this year–we often find ourselves with wayward reviews. Sometimes we receive review material after its release date. Occasionally we start a review, but other reviews cause it to go on the backburner. Sometimes we write things that don’t quite satisfy, so we set them aside and they perish. Life also draws us away, especially health emergencies and unexpected tragedies. In some cases, we thought the scheduled review posted on time, only to discover months later that they didn’t post at all! And sometimes…well, sometimes we just forget.
Point being thus: just as we can backlog on review materials, reviews themselves also backlog. We feel mighty guilty about having missed something. With today being the arrival of autumn, what better time than now to unpack a bunch of reviews that for one reason or another never made it out of the “Reviews” folder? So over the course of the day, we’re going to be publishing numerous reviews that didn’t see publishing the first time around. It’s not a reflection on the subject matter, either; these reviews offer just as much insight as our regularly scheduled content.
So sit back and enjoy these delightful nuggets that might otherwise have been deleted at the end of the year. And don’t worry–we’re planning more marathons for the future, because there’s a lot of stuff out there, and we want to tell you all about it. We know your time may be limited, so it means a lot that you choose to visit our little hovel.
Thank you for your continued readership and support.
