Tunde Adebimpe is back, baby. The soulful, enigmatic frontman of TV On The Radio has been silent for a few years now, but he’s reemerged, signed to Sub Pop for a 2025 debut album, and delivering a helluva welcome back song. Though the song has him thinking about his time and place in the human race, he fights back against feeling bad about it, and he’s ready to fight. Uptempo as hell, this is Adebimpe in preach mode, a sound sorely lacking over the past few years. TVOTR has been teasing a comeback, and I’m all for it, but let’s see what he’s got in his system on his own.
