The Love Unlimited Orchestra was the product of one Barry White, and it allowed him to flex his compositional and arrangement skills. “Love’s Theme” was a massive hit, and understandably so; it blended easy listening, funk, and disco into something completely original. As for me, I recall the song being used as bumper music on one of my favorite radio stations, 710 KEEL. Enjoy, then, this song’s simple yet sensual melodies.
