When first we heard British duo Still Corners, we fell hard for them. And why not? Dreamy vocals, dark melodies, and a sense of excitement and danger awaited us in the grooves of Creatures Of An Hour. Since that debut, the duo of Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes have only improved. Their fifth album, The Last Exit, will be released early next year, but they’ve been kind enough to share the first taste, a superbly dark little title track, replete with equally cool video. Blending Americana with some cool Hope Sandoval-style dreamy vocals, it’s a promising and exciting little number.
