Nice to hear from our old favorites Sanguine Hum, a band that’s quite adept at progressive rock with pop sensibilty. Their recently released album A Trace Of Memory, offers the quality rock one expects from the Oxford band. But the highlight here has to be the simple, heartfelt “Still As The Sea.” A stripped-down piano ballad, the song features frontman Joff Winks at his most plaintive. For a band improving itself with each album, this little number proves a high point. “Still As The Sea” provides a nice little send-off into the upcoming winter season.
