For today’s playlist, we’ve decided to examine the genesis of an unlikely pop song that has seen its share of covers. “I Want More” was an unexpected hit by the progressive German group Can, a band least likely to have been a contender for a pop hit in the first place. This podcast examines the song as it has developed over time since its 1976 release, by examining a few covers representing the decades since its original release nearly four decades ago.
