Country outlaw bad boy Steve Earle’s career has had peaks and valleys that weaker men couldn’t survive, and it all started with the impressive 1986 debut album, Guitar Town. A successful record in its own right, not only would it give him mainstream success, but it would also help to redefine the burgeoning alt.country scene. This, the title track, was a top ten country single, and earned Earle two Grammy nominations, as well as setting him off on one helluva life.
