Country outlaw bad boy Steve Earle’s career has had peaks and valleys that weaker men couldn’t survive, and it all started with the impressive 1986 debut album, Guitar Town. A successful record in its own right, not only would it give him mainstream success, but it would also help to redefine the burgeoning scene. This, the title track, was a top ten country single, and earned Earle two Grammy nominations, as well as setting him off on one helluva life. To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary, the album has been reissued as a deluxe edition, featuring one hot-as-hell live show recorded in Chicago.
