Her new single, “Kong,” is her first new solo offering in four years.Produced by Four Tet and Massive Attack‘s 3D, it is a smooth, trip-hop groove. The video itself is also gorgeous, a feast of sensory delights, produced by Jenn Nkiru. Aside from a handful of live dates, we’re not sure what Ms. Cherry’s immediate plans are, but after spending the evening enjoying and savoring this song, it’s a sure things that we will attentively be waiting for further news of new material.
