You would be forgiven if you though Mark W. Georgsson hailed from Nashville or Austin or Chicago or any of America’s alt-country scenes. Although he hails from Scotland, his new EP Comes A Time offers a half-dozen fine Americana/Roots Rock-minded numbers. We hear shades of Wilco and Ryan Adams and even a little bit of Ben Folds for good measure. We’re most fond of “One Of A Kind,” an upbeat number with a delightful Summerteeth vibe that satisfies, and the other five songs are equally as ace.
