Not only is His Name Is Alive a prolific group, they have the ability to shape-shift into a various number of sounds and styles in such a way that nothing they do ever sounds repetitive of previous work. “Send Me A Dragonfly” is one such transformation; band mastermind Warren Defever and company are in a reflective mood here, with a gentle piano accompanying wind chimes and/or other kinetic musical instruments. This blissful, unhurried trip goes on for fourteen minutes, but thanks to today’s technologies, one can put this on infinite loop and let it continue on forever. Ambient music in its purest, most natural state.
