Folk singer Tim Buckley‘s heavenly voice and the tragic history of his short life has resulted in him transcending into the pantheon of near-mythical Doomed Musicians. Thus, any new discovery of music is going to be met with some fanfare. A baker’s dozen of unreleased acoustic recordings were recently discovered by his producer Jerry Yester and his longtime collaborator Larry Beckett, and offer Buckley’s hauntingly beautiful voice in its most pure, unrefined state.
Lady, Give Me Your Key: The Unissued 1967 Solo Acoustic Sessions will be released 21 October via Future Days Recordings.
