Dear Nora is the continuing project of West Coast-based musician Katy Davidson. In the last decade, she quietly released three albums and a handful of singles, the music of which often ranged from lo-fi folk to acoustic instrumental music.Their second album, Mountain Rock was released in 2004 and was something of an experimental piece; it featured seventeen tracks, often ranging from brief instrumental interludes between equally brief moments of super-short abstract lyrical moments, resulting in a record that didn’t make much sense individually but sounded amazing put together and listened to as a whole. Mountain Rock has been repressed for vinyl and is available via Orindal Records.
