This little three minute nugget slipped out quietly over the weekend, and we have been quite enthralled by it. It’s a new song from Thomas Andrew Doyle, but it doesn’t sound like the dark metal and the heavy sounds he’s known for. If anything, this sounds like his take on Krautrock. More specifically, it sounds like the early 1980s soundtrack work of Tangerine Dream. We have no idea what “Tines of Radiation” is from, or if there is a full length album is forthcoming, but it matters not; this brief sample of goodness shows why Doyle has grown into one of the most interesting composers of recent times.
