Let’s kick off the weekend with a fantastic live take from Sonic Youth‘s masterpiece, Daydream Nation. This concert was recorded and released as Battery Park, NYC: July 4, 2008, a super-limited bonus album with the band’s final studio effort, The Eternal. The performance found the band in fine form, and you’d never know that this song was twenty years old at the time, as they approach it with the same youthful (as it were) vigor as they did when it first saw release.
