Okay, this is a bit of a puzzler. All I know about the band Hello Mary is that they hail from New York City, consist of three teenagers, and make a fantastic sound. Their debut single, “Apple,” is a pretty hard-hitting grunge-influenced number that really reminds me of Dinosaur Jr and more than a bit of the band Cell. Oh, and you’ll be instantly hooked. I heard them on WPKN the other day, and I was addicted. With but an Instagram account, info on the band may be hard to come by, but they’re worth seeking out, and that’s for damn sure. Looking forward to their 2020….
