Song Of The Day: Jack Hues, “Whitstable Beach”

Jack Hues "Whitstable Beach" The Recoup

If you think you’ve never heard of Jack Hues, think again; his band Wang Chung defined the sound of the Eighties with “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” and “Dance Hall Days”. Of course, his new single “Whitstable Beach” is a straightforward rocker and doesn’t sound like his main band. But that’s okay, because this song rocks in a really nice way, not unlike Nada Surf or, god forgive me, Foo Fighters.  But that’s okay, as “Whitstable Beach” instantly draws you into its FM rock vibe and won’t let you go. He releases his debut album Primitif January 21, 2020 via Dawn Chorus Recording Company
