Sometimes, there’s nothing wrong with tried and true, and that’s certainly true with the brand new single from Pretenders. Taken from their new album Hate For Sale, “The Buzz” offers exactly the sort of downtempo love lorn rock Chrissie Hynde has made her specialty for the past 40 years. She’s in fine voice here, and, well, it’s simply classic Pretenders.
