Hard to believe it’s been fifteen years since last we heard from Scottish dark rockers Arab Strap. But yes, it’s true; Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton have delivered a surprise new single, “The Turning Of Our Bones”. Better still–it is one of their finest singles to date. Incorporating an odd dance groove, lyrics about death, decomposition, zombies, and true love, it’s hard not to be charmed by this weird and dark and gruesome little number. The song appears on digital platforms now, with a single available in October, but the video is here for your enjoyment. Warning: the video is as gruesome as the lyrics, so viewer beware; that won’t stop you from hitting repeat, though.
