Song Of The Day: The Polyphonic Spree, “Let ‘Em In”

The Polyphonic Spree

2020 has offered us challenging times. Tumultuous, taxing, trying, toxic times. We miss our friends and we miss our families. We miss gathering publicly for reasons solemn to celebratory. Whenever they’re together, Dallas’s The Polyphonic Spree surely breaks all health guidelines. But their purpose has always been to uplift and inspire, and their latest single does just that. It’s the band’s take on Paul McCartney‘s superb ode to gathering with loved ones, 1976’s “Let ‘Em In.” Their new video shows just that–a gathering of friends coming together to make music, and it’s almost as if Sir Paul wrote this song just for them. It’s one of many highlights from their new covers EP, We Hope It Finds You Well. While we wait for a clearing in the storm,  this song will warm your hearts and will prompt your mind of days long past and days soon to return.
