In 2003, Gary Louris’ longstanding band The Jayhawks had been through the highs and lows that any veteran group would feel, but that would soon change with the release of their album Rainy Day Music, which would become the band’s best-selling, best chart-performing album up to that time. Among the album’s many wonderful songs is this number, a Beatles-like pop tune that piqued the ears of new listeners, and is easily one of the group’s best songs, period. With those awesome harmonies, how could it not?
