Peter Holmstrom is the long time guitar wizard for psychedelic legends The Dandy Warhols, yet over the last few years he has ventured out solo from time to time as Pete International Airport. Naturally, it is a psychedelic affair ––the group name coming from an early Dandys song ––and though because of circumstances we missed the opportunity to write about their most recent album, last year’s Safer With The Wolves, the release of a video for the song” Western Shouting” gave us the entrée to write something nice about a record we really enjoy. This is a straight up crunchy psychedelic rocker, with amazing guitars and visuals to boot. So just sit back and enjoy your flight; is one you are sure not to forget.
