We always find ourselves ecstatic about anything new from San Francisco based artist Holly Herndon, and “Eternal,” taken from her forthcoming 4AD album PROTO, is so delightfully out there that it makes us forget it’s been four long years since her last album. She recorded it with the help of her newest musical partner, Spawn, an AI creation all her own, and it’s clear her new collaborator brings much to the table. As for the music and video? Well, we really can’t describe it in a way that serves it justice–just watch the darn thing, okay? And now you know why we are so excited…
