Norwegian indiepop band I Was A King has always had something of a Teenage Fanclub fixation; after all, their debut single was a tribute to Norman Blake. It isn’t surprising, then, that Blake helped to produce their new album, Slow Century, and his deft production touch adds a nice rootsy 60s-era country-rock feel. “Bubble” has quickly become one of our favorite songs, especially with those fantastic Byrds-like harmonies. We’re sure you’ll agree; what better way to start off a new week?
