It’s always exciting when the progeny of a musical talent start to make music of their own, and that’s definitely the case with the children of Bobby McFerrin, the happy-go-lucky man who gave us the classic “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” We recently featured a wonderful track from his sister Madison, and we’re excited to share with you this fantastic single from brother Taylor’s new album, Love’s Last Chance, which came out last month. “Love And Distance” is pure 90s slow-jam groove, with the aroma of Quiet Storm emanating from the track. Though he has released a handful of records prior to this new album, it is surprisingly the first time he stepped behind the microphone and took the leads all by himself. Good thing, too; his vocal skills and stylings are just as impressive as his recording and his arrangement skills.
