For nearly four decades, British electronic-pop duo Erasure have created vital, enjoyable, and intelligent pop music. Their eighteenth album, The Neon, shows that Andy Bell and Vince Clarke still possess the Midas touch. First single, “Hey Now (Think I Got A Feeling)” offers up their trademark upbeat gospel-tinged disco pop, with vocalist Bell in fine form. Critics might suggest they’ve not changed their sound much in the past three decades, but when that formula is this good, who cares?
