John Moreland makes a haunted sound; his deep voice, in combination with his quiet, hushed guitar picking and his wistful, melancholic lyrics mixes together to make a song you won’t soon forget. He has a live album coming out, recorded at Third Man Records, and it was recorded in a process not seen outside of 1955, which only adds more shadow to the already moody track. “Dim Little Light” is the first single from the album, and it’s a beauty.
