What better way to slip into the last weekend of summer than with a deliciously sweet sonic cocktail? That’s exactly what Sean O’Hagan has done–he’s given us a second taste of his forthcoming solo album, Radum Calls, Radum Calls, out in October via Drag City. Considering his reputation as the man behind The High Llamas, you already sort of know what it sounds like. But wait! Who’s that other guy singing here? Why, it’s Cathal Coughlan, frontman of Microdisney! This only makes the concoction only sweeter, hearing the voice of the avowed “Anti-Bono” singing along with his former bandmate. As if we weren’t excited enough about the new album already, we most certainly are now!
